Messanges borders one of the most beautiful pine forests in the Landes, crisscrossed with cycling paths and sandy trails. By bike or on foot, you can easily reach the wide, untamed beach ,still wonderfully natural.
La "Vélodyssée" cycling route runs through the village, connecting nearby beaches, surrounding lakes, and neighbouring towns. Here, the ocean is part of everyday life. You go in the early morning, at sunset, or simply to walk, breathe, and watch the waves.

why we choose messanges
When we imagined Brume Surf House, we were looking for a place that felt alive yet intimate, close to the ocean but away from the bustle. A place where everything could be done on foot or by bike.
Messanges felt like an obvious choice. A simple, sincere village where you can unpack your bags, slow down without feeling bored, and live in tune with the seasons.
Today, Brume blends naturally into this setting: a starting point to explore the surroundings, and a place you’re always happy to return to after a day outdoors.
