A GUEST HOUSE IN THE HEART OF THE VILLAGE OF MESSANGES
Nestled between forest and ocean, Brume is an intimate guesthouse located in the heart of the village of Messanges, less than five minutes from the sea.
The house features five private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and separate toilet, high-quality comfortable bedding, and private outdoor access with a terrace, offering space and privacy for everyone.
Designed as a holiday home, Brume opens onto shared spaces made for gathering: a sunlit garden, a swimming pool lined with loungers, and a pool house that has become the heart of the home, centred around the 1969 Estafette bar, carefully restored. It’s where you meet for a morning coffee, an evening apéritif, or conversations that unfold naturally.
Here, the car gets to rest. The village, bakery, local shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as the beach, are all accessible on foot or by bike, thanks to the cycling paths and "La Vélodyssée", which begins at the end of the garden. On-site parking is available for arrivals.
Breakfast is available as an optional extra, prepared with fresh, locally sourced products and booked on site according to the rhythm of your stay.
Days are shaped freely between ocean, garden and home, with no fixed schedule, in a simple, convivial and lively atmosphere.

Brume is a house born from a family renovation project.
Over the course of nearly six months, the house was completely redesigned and renovated with the help of Gillian’s parents,
family members and friends who came to lend a hand. Weekends of building work, shared ideas, helping hands and plenty
of energy brought this Landes house back to life, transforming it into a simple and welcoming place.
Passionate about surfing and trained as a mixologist, Gillian lives to the rhythm of the ocean, travel and encounters.
Brume grew from the desire to create an open house, a place where people feel at ease and can take the time to enjoy the surroundings.
Gillian and Marie welcome guests in person and are always happy to share their favourite spots, local recommendations
and tips for discovering the region.
Brume is a simple, sun-filled and sincere house, a place you come for the ocean, the light
and the pleasure of living outdoors.
