Brume is a guest house , located in the Landes region, in the heart of the village of Messanges , less than two kilometers from the ocean.
A simple, beautiful place that invites you to slow down and enjoy.
Here, everything is naturally done on foot or by bicycle .
Brume is nestled in the heart of the village of Messanges , a short walk from the bakery , local shops , bars and restaurants .
The cycle paths take you to the beach, located less than 10 minutes away.
The Vélodyssée , meanwhile, starts at the end of the garden and allows you to discover all the surroundings: whether you go to Hossegor or to the Courant d'Huchet, everything is done by bike.
The car quickly becomes secondary, the pace slows down on its own.
Brume is first and foremost a human-sized guest house , where hospitality and sharing really matter.
Gillian , the founder of Brume, is on site to welcome you , guide you throughout your stay, share her favorite spots, her favorite surf spots, and her advice depending on the season or your current desires.
The vibrant atmosphere of Hossegor and Seignosse is less than twenty minutes away, just a few kilometers. Close enough to enjoy the energy of the west coast and far enough away to savor the peace and tranquility of Messanges.

- THE ROOMS -
Brume has five bedrooms , designed as quiet and comfortable spaces.
Each bedroom has its own private bathroom and toilet . They open onto a terrace overlooking the garden and the swimming pool .
By staying at Brume, you will have access to all the spaces in the house : the swimming pool , the garden , the pool house , as well as the living room , where you can enjoy breakfasts and take the time to start the day.
Each morning, breakfast is offered as an option , prepared using fresh, local produce .
It can be booked on site the day before, according to your preferences and the pace of your stay.
Inside, the rooms are bright and comfortable , with a soft 70s-inspired decor .
The house is organized around an interior living room, designed for shared moments and breakfasts.
Outside, a sunny garden welcomes:
a swimming pool lined with sun loungers,
a pool house , a true living space, a place for sharing and discussion around the bar of the 1969 Estafette van, renovated by Christophe, Gillian's father,
a pétanque court,
and of course… boards ready to go into the water.
The days are naturally organized between the beach, the garden and the house.
A washing machine is available as an option, upon request.
Brume offers the best of both worlds : the nature and tranquility of the Landes region, just a few kilometers from the energy of Hossegor .

BETWEEN OCEAN AND LANDES FOREST
Less than two kilometers away , Messanges beach is easily accessible by bike or on foot. Wild and unspoiled , it is renowned for the quality of its surf spots , accessible to both beginners and experienced surfers, depending on the conditions.
Around the village, cycle paths wind between pine trees, dunes and Landes villages. You can explore without constraints, alternating between forest and ocean, taking the time to stop, have a quick lunch or extend the day in the sun.
A little further afield, Hossegor, Seignosse, and Capbreton offer a different vibe: iconic beaches, surf culture, lively cafes, and summer evenings. Close enough to enjoy, yet far enough away to preserve the tranquility of Messanges.
Brume is also an ideal starting point for exploring further afield : Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Bayonne, Biarritz, or the first villages of the Basque Country can easily be discovered on a day trip. Here, you can navigate between unspoiled nature and charming towns, always at the rhythm of the ocean.
